taxa list for the Western Lake Superior Basin
In 1997 and 1998 Valerie Brady, a stream ecologist and scientist
at NRRI, collected and identified aquatic macroinvertebrates
from 48 2nd and 3rd order streams that drain directly into
Lake Superior between Grand Marais, MN and Ashland, WI.
She has provided us with a list
of all macroinvertebrate taxa collected (128 KB EXCEL spreadsheet).
Included are collection methods and a taxa list complete with
common names, habitats, and functional attributes.
