Data Archive

The complete collection of the data from our intensive monitoring sites is available in a CSV (comma separated values) format that can be read directly by (or easily imported into) common database and spreadsheet programs.

The first line contains the headings for each column entry; the second line describes the units.

Each subsequent line contains the results obtained by the stream monitoring unit at the indicated time. The values are separated by commas (hence the name of the format). Lines end with carriage return/linefeed characters.

Each ".csv" files has been compressed into a ".zip" file (the file size is reduced over 80% by compression). Common file decompression programs such as WinZip for Windows, or ZipIt for the Mac can be used to extract the csv file.

To use:

Download the desired file -- and "Unzip" it using a file decompression utility.
Open the resulting ".csv" file in Excel or your database program.
Use the filtering, sorting, and charting capabilities of your software to explore the data.

Remember: These data should be considered "provisional" until otherwise indicated. The data undergo several rounds of QA/QC review and some of the data may be modified at a subsequent date.
